Lee graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina physician assistant training program in 1983. He then completed a surgical residency before coming back to the Northwest. Lee provides physician-supervised care for patients in surgery, on the wards and in the office.

He is originally from the East Coast but feels like Washington is his home ever since being stationed in Port Angeles during a tour of duty in the Coast Guard. In his free time, Lee likes to ride his mountain bike, scuba dive in warm water, hike, ski and is now working on getting his private pilots license.
